We help people to maximise their Healthspan, so they can get the most out of their Lifespan. Regardless of age, gender, underlying fitness, or life circumstances.

I started Healthspan Fitness in 2023, after working for 25 years in financial markets and investments. I apply some common core principles across these different fields.

Absorb what is useful
I have always been active in sports and fitness, including martial arts, football, snow sports and swimming for most of my life. To the martial arts side, I have added boxing for the last 15 years. While many of these activities are extremely demanding in terms of breathing, I had never specifically focused on training my breathing in isolation. Likewise, I had never thought to specifically train in cold exposure to enhance my performance or health.

In 2017 I found the Wim Hof Method, with the goal of improving endurance and sports performance. The impact it had was incredible. I then began to notice many other benefits outside of sports performance. These included remedying existing physical ailments, a stronger immune system, as well as the benefits WHM brings in terms of managing stress, harnessing focus, and fostering composure and inner peace.

 

Eat your own cooking

I only hold out to others what I genuinely believe in and have found true value in myself. I have been using these training methods myself for many years now, and It is emphatically the best thing I have ever done for my health and fitness. As a result, I have extremely high conviction in what I offer to other people.


Lift others as you climb
After personally experiencing benefits way beyond my expectations for several years, I became a certified instructor in both Wim Hof Method (2022) and Oxygen Advantage (2023). I find these two methods highly complementary.

All of the areas we offer training in involve creating physical and mental adaptation, to make us healthier, stronger, fitter and happier. Each contributes to "Making Normal Easier", and "Making Incredible Possible".

My goal is to bring these benefits to as many people as possible - whether in physical or mental performance, health, or wellbeing.
